This class is for children ages 7-12 years old. Spend your vacation making art with others! Plan to wear an artist’s smock and get your brushes, brayers and hands into markers, inks, paints and glues. We will have fun drawing and painting animals, plants and landscapes of Cape Cod as we experiment with familiar and new art supplies. We’ll play with words and a variety of ways to add lettering for big and small messages. Everyone will keep a record of their projects so they can recreate the activities at home. Art students will compile their work into a spiral-bound art journal; there will be extra pages to continue on their own. Taught by a very experienced teacher, the students will have a time socializing with other kids paired with fun and challenging art activities. Space is limited.
